The Old Lot

Old man watches sadly as kids vandalize an old lot (maybe he tries to yell at them, but can't breathe that well...) with maybe a garage or some building in it.  He remembers before it was an old lot and was an active and important part of his life.  (maybe it used to be an open feild where he proposed to his bride under the moon.)  But he is not well now - maybe wheel chair or oxygen tank, etc. - and feels helpless.
He wishes on the moon for it to once again be a place of happiness.
Wish
Little fairies come out of the moon (maybe his old bride is now in the moon and sends them.) white little fairies with pretty breezy dresses and wings.  Also a dainty fairy goat with wings.
As the old man sleeps they start to fix the place up.
They are little kid fairies, and have fun with their work.  Dancing and singing they plant seeds  - "planting seeds, planting seeds" woven into the picture as they (like Andrew always used to) sing and narrate what they are doing in a nonsense, but yet beautifull song.  The fairy goat eats old thorns like puncture weed - also humming to himself (maybe bubbles to show goat thoughts) "eating weeds, eating weeds!"  All happy all in their own little world.
The fairies come back on several different nights to tend the place, and soon flowers begin to grow.
In surprise the old man manages to make it out to the old plot as tears stream down his face, he is so happy.
The kids who vandalized the place are watching hidden.  They notice as he tries unsuccessfully to tend the plants.
The old man is not well, and doesn't make it down very often.  In his absence, the kids who vandalized the place start to tend the plants.  Magic happens, and they feel happy for once in their lives.  They stop feeling insecure and start to have fun!  They sing and dance as they clean the place up and plant seeds they collect from there and other places.  "Planting seeds, planting seeds!"  The fairies no longer are coming to tend the plants, as new fairies have taken over.
Even a goat shows up (kind of one of those funny out of place things that you don't notice is so out of place - this goat has personality and isn't quite sure why he showed up, but enjoys it.) and eats the weeds as he frolics arounds - thinking to himself, humming: "eating weeds eating weeds".
The old man falls asleep one day while he is in the new beautifull empty lot.  The kids don't see him, untill he wakes up and sees one of them running around.  Fearing the worst, he tries to scold the child, who promptly dissapears.  He then sees other of the children over the bushes dancing and making the place beautifull.  He realizes his mistake.  He digs through his old treasures and finds old gardening tools and gloves that hold living memories in his head.  The children have been using old broken tin cans, etc. - they are more or less from the ghetto kind of kids and don't have anything.  He lays these out as presents, then enjoys himself as he hides and watches his new "fairies".  The goat however fails to realize that the old man is hiding and that there was once tension between the two groups, and gets over excited, joustling the old man.  The kids are at first fearfull - especially the one he chastened earlier.  but he shows them some tricks to make their work easier and more productive.  They soon become freinds and the real miricle isn't the transformation of the lot, but the love and freindship working together brings the old man and the kids - both of whom needed love and freindship.  The kids do the physical labor, and the old man shares his knowledge unintrusively, with a nod here, a wink there, and pointing with is finger with geasture of being pleased with their work.  The goat tries to remember to only eat the weeds, and says hi to the moon fairies that only he can see now, as they look down on the happy scene.
